Alexand follows Inajda into her hideout in the heart of the Amanojuko Capital City. (If you enjoy this story, then please consider donating to the DEC India appeal. This issue is dedicated to a friend of mine, who happens to live in India. This story is for you, Siddiqui Fayesal Stay safe.)

Reports of locals disappearing in the Mongolian Capital, had Field Marshal Panak station Colonel Merek to Ulaanbaatar to investigate, and have her troops act as a front-line guard for the people of that city. Other major cities bordering the Amanojuko’s wall around Russia, have reported similar disappearances, and Panak has placed his troops in all affected border cities to send a message to the Amanojuko.

Jarad follows Alexand towards the creepy hotel, in which she is planning to hide the captured body and soul of Lord Filius Anderson.

Alex takes Jarad to a hideout deep in the Guangxi Mountains, in China, where she plans to hide the writer, containing Lord Filius Anderson.

Alexand is making her way to the laboratory wing, inside the Amanojuko factory, in the hope the cure can be found there. She has an invisibility shield around her, enabling her to avoid detection, however she has reached a section of corridor, which is out of bounds to the socialites, and as the corridor gets darker, there are cries, and scratching noises from the rooms the other side.

The group have been waiting for Alexand to return, and have set camp back in the cave, near Lake Baikal.

Colonel Katherine De Somme has been honoured with a full military funeral. Her parents, although invited, are absent, but her wife, Alexand, stands next to Field Marshal Panak, dressed in her uniform, as Field Marshal Panak presents her with Katherine’s medals. It is an open casket.

Alexand is still angry after her fight with the Guild Master’s General

Katherine sits by the window in her laboratory, synthesising more inhibitor for the patients in the sickbay. She is getting nervous, today is the day she was promised a visit from a future version of herself, and the cure to her illness.

It is finally the fourteenth of May, and The Guild Master’s General has been watching over Katherine as she sleeps. He fades between energy and matter, making himself invisible to Katherine’s nurse as she injects a dose of adrenaline into Katherine’s bloodstream, to wake her up.

This future version of Anesidor Sumian has lived for hundreds of years. She is the creator of the writer, which the resistance use to stay alive. She has the ability to transport matter from one place to another, to store it inside a box, keeping it safe, like she had dreamed of as a child. She has to maintain time’s continuity, to ensure that her world doesn’t crumble. Unfortunately Inajda Rekaya is being rather uncooperative. (This issue is dedicated to my Mum, whose birthday it is today, and who is always there for me, when I need her, just like Mary Poppins, but a lot less scary.)

The group has headed northeast and zigzagged around inhabited areas, to where they are about eight hundred miles away from the Amanojuko factory, near Lake Baikal. Doctor Azizi has been tasked with convincing a very stubborn Inajda to part with her writer and potentially endanger the mission.

Katherine has been in a self induced coma for five days, and in all that time, the Guild Master’s General has made sure he watches over her, guarding her from Amanojuko agents.

A few days have passed since Abouna Panak approached Katherine in her laboratory. She has increased the dose of inhibitor, to attempt to prevent her body from deteriorating any more than it has already. She has made the decision to rest inside the sickbay alongside the other patients, as the long trek from laboratory to her apartment is too much of a strain on her body.

Ajeeta Kothari is on the run. She fled her son’s funeral for the mountains of Afghanistan. She has no allies, and a lot of enemies. She failed in her attempt to get Katherine De Somme to believe that her affiliation had changed. Her only hope of survival is to leave her life behind, and carry on running from the Amanojuko.

The Guild Master’s General arrives on a secret resistance base, which has been set up by the mysterious President Asenath Bomani.

Katherine woke up the day after her birthday, and made her way down to her laboratory to continue with her analysis of Juba Apfvarzian’s blood. When she arrived there, all of the samples had gone. There was no trace of her findings, and her research over the past few weeks has vanished.

Ajeeta Kothari attempts to convince Katherine that she has changed her allegiance.

Ajeeta Kothari has spent weeks wracked with guilt about what she saw in the Amanojuko headquarters. She is having second thoughts about wanting immortality for her son and husband, and materialises a force field around herself and Katherine so that Lord Filius Anderson does not overhear her.

Juba has a feeling someone has been watching him. He returns back to his boarding house, and bolts the door, closes the curtains, and switches off the light.

The survivors bury their dead, deep in the dirt of the Red Sand Hills of Kekexili. They lost four people, including a very young, Farokh Merek.

Abouna has been listening to Inajda and Katherine’s conversation, from the corridor outside the living room.

After attempting to escape from an angry farmer, Alexand has collapsed, and has been caught.

Inajda is thinking about life outside of her duty.

Ajeeta Kothari returns back to her laboratory in Saskatoon from her visit to the Amanojuko base in Russia. She notices that Katherine De Somme is absent, and as Lord Anderson has ordered, needs to know exactly where Katherine is and what she is up to. She learns that Katherine hasn’t been in her laboratory for weeks, and against protocol visits Katherine at home to see for herself that Doctor De Somme is finally near to being deactivated.

Katherine has decided to undergo a scan to determine how much time she has left.

The Guild Master’s General has to set a course for Abouna Panak, so that he can fulfil his destiny. He has come to take Abouna’s mother on a journey, that will separate her from her son. (Read Part One Here) This episode is dedicated to everyone who has supported these stories over the years. Thank you.

The Guild Master’s General has been summonsed back from his detour to see Katherine De Somme. He knows what’s waiting for him back on the streets where he lives. Reassuring Katherine was worth the beatings he’ll get as he waits for Mr Ash to arrive. The next issue is out on 25th June to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of these stories on wordpress.

Who is this mysterious Guild Master’s General, and why does he seem interested in Katherine De Somme? Katherine wants to find out, but he isn’t being very cooperative.

Jarad walks with Alexand, as she leads her troops towards the borders of Tibet. (If you would like to donate to the Nepal Earthquake Appeal please visit the Red Cross Website or the DEC Website. Thank you.)

Alex attempts to disguise her illness from her troops, as she leads them towards Tibet.

Ajeeta Kothari waited for Katherine to retire from her research for the evening, and is alone in the laboratory sick bay, with only the dying patients to overhear her. She takes out her writer and transmits a signal to her employer.

Katherine is still uneasy about sharing her laboratory with Doctor Kothari.

Katherine has had enough of her self-imposed ban from her laboratory, and despite Doctor Kothari being there, she finally has the courage to enter through the double doors, to visit the patients in her sick bay, some of whom aren’t much sicker than herself.

Inajda has been working deep undercover as a socialite, in an attempt to infiltrate a new Amanojuko experiment, entitled “The Floating Asylum,” which the Amanojuko plan to use to cleanse the human population of any resistance. She has managed to get herself a pass, and using one of Katherine’s blood shields, she waits at the security desk ready to board the ship.

The group made it to the top of the mountain safely, and trekked another half an hour down to the base camp in Annapurna, a place shielded from the elements. They have paid for pitched tents and have set up a camp fire, with some food roasting. Heyem sits by the fire, next to Alex, who is unusually quiet.

Heyem sits on a bench, holding tightly to her stomach as the cable car swings away from its dock.

Gianti Dincrind is a research scientist, from a wealthy family, and has been exposed to the forthcoming agenda to create a new world order. She has waited her turn amongst other socialites, and is now sitting in front of the great man himself. Lord Filius Anderson. Lord Anderson is in charge of hand picking the new race in preparation for the Amanojuko takeover in 4006.

Two months have passed and Alexand and Katherine have gathered in secret, inside Jarad’s house, with seven of Abouna Panak’s most trusted double agents. (As well as Heyem, Farokh and Jarad) They are preparing for the long journey to Russia. Katherine sits in her hover chair, still strong enough to contribute, but is weakening as the days pass. She listens as Alexand takes command. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Katherine recovered enough to join the siblings in the morning. Her illness hits her in waves. At the moment she is able to walk, and feels better than she did the night before. Alex, Farokh and Heyem watch on as Katherine, somewhat like her old self, attempts to help their quest. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Alexand has appealed to Heyem to help save Katherine’s life. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Heyem Merek has made a successful life for herself as a doctor of Herstory in Hong Kong University, but being an identical twin has its drawbacks. Sometimes she can sense if something has happened to her twin sister Alex, even though Heyem has tried her best to distance herself from her troublesome twin. Heyem has woken up after a strange dream, that she was tumbling down a cliff. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

A ship leaves the port for India in the morning. Most of Alexand’s brigade is scheduled to leave for home. As the commanding officer, Alex has orders to remain in Australia for the second part of the tour. It is night time, and she has finished her duties for the day. She lies in her tent, writing a letter to be brought home to Katherine. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Katherine waited a week, not expecting to be visited by a future version of Juba Apfvarzian, but after a spate of feeling very sick, there was a knock on her apartment door, and standing there was a man, with dreadlocks, much older than the boy she’d seen performing magic. Katherine is taken to Mogadishu, Somalia, by the Guild Master’s General, to observe a young magician called Juba Apfvarzian. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Katherine attempted to buy a lift back home to Saskatoon military base, but was turned away, due to her illness. The driver told her she shouldn’t be out in public spreading her disease about. She was left standing in the rain, as the first part of the monsoon winds hit. The local landlords also refused her a bed to stay. She found a place to shelter, in a tree house, built for local children. Dripping wet and freezing cold, she sat inside, attempting to shelter from the rains. This issue is dedicated to Fayesal Siddiqui, who has been a great support to me throughout the course of sharing these stories. You’re welcome to read “A Fellow Blogger,” with his thoughts on Unbound Boxes, on his website, “Ho-Hum … well we’re going to die anyway!” Thank you, Fayesal. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

After leaving the laboratory, Katherine retreated to her apartment, and sat staring at the wall for what seemed like hours. Once she’d stopped staring, she packed a bag of overnight supplies and set off outside, with one particular place in mind. After a few hours of traveling she found herself outside her father’s mansion, hoping somehow this would be enough to satisfy her need for closure. With, Inajda and Anesidor unreachable, Alex in Australia, her laboratory occupied, and her appetite for reading diminished by her failing eyesight, Georges and Kavita De Somme are all Katherine has left to turn to. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

After convincing Farokh to keep silent, Katherine makes her way slowly to her laboratory, in an attempt to continue her research into decoding the catalyst. Unfortunately without her writer she has no means of contacting Professor Sumian, and must rely on the rudimentary technology available to her in Saskatoon. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Katherine tried to get rid of Farokh, but she needs help, and somehow he convinced her he might be useful. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

After having tidied herself up after her shower, Katherine returns to the lounge to confront Farokh about the map he accidentally saw when he found her lying unconscious. Farokh has opened up the book, and the map has been projected onto the wall, where it had been before Katherine collapsed. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Katherine walked to her bathroom, hoping that Farokh would leave by the time she’d finished having a shower. She locked the door and dumped all her vomit-covered clothes on the floor, still confused and slightly traumatised by her collapse. Her short-term memory is starting to become affected by her illness, and she is missing Alex very badly, wishing her writer hadn’t been taken. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Katherine wakes up on her sofa, listening to the sound of a man singing. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Before Alex had to leave for a five-month tour of duty to Australia, she asked her brother Farokh to make sure Katherine was looking after herself properly. (She gave him a spare key to her apartment.) Two months have passed since Farokh was asked, and he hasn’t visited, due to the fact he forgot, and is also mildly frightened of the rather austere Katherine. Guilt overrides Farokh’s selfish reluctance, and he makes his way towards Katherine’s apartment to carry out Alexand’s request. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Helga Ritter and her team of scientists have been given a new batch of test subjects to inject with ‘Plague,’ (In an attempt to spread panic and paranoia throughout the world. In preparation for the Amanojuko takeover) Juba Apfvarzian is amongst the test subjects who have been injected, but something is not quite right about him, and Helga Ritter is unsettled. The Guild Master’s General takes Abouna Panak forward in time to the year 4002, where Alexand has discharged herself from the military due to alcoholism, and is heading for Goa to lead a healthier lifestyle, along with her husband, Jarad and their three children, Samuel, Ancille and Anastasia. To make money, Alexand plays in music bars, along the way. The Guild Master’s General has taken Abouna Panak into a crowded nightclub; Alexand is playing. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Helga Ritter has been working secretly on project ‘Ghost ship’ in mid Russia, in a level deep below the earth. (Project Ghost Ship is the name for the catalyst, which is causing Katherine’s cells to break down) Thousands of human specimens from all over the world have been collected for experimentation, and brought to this complex unconscious, either to be infected with the catalyst or to be sent to one of the many Floating Asylum ships, (depending on how disposable or unwittingly useful these resistance members are.) Some of the ‘experiments’ are ordinary members of the public, chosen at random to instil fear of ‘plague’ in the general population, but others have been picked for deliberate elimination as they pose a threat to Project Amanojuko Immortalis. (CLICK HERE for next chronological story.)

Alex and Katherine discuss the enemy base plans, which Inajda has secretly given them, in an attempt to help save their lives. (CLICK HERE for next chronological story)
