Two weeks have passed since the consultation with Dr Bhati. Katherine has undergone revolutionary surgery to replace her kidney and lungs with cloned organs, she has had a mastectomy and radiotherapy and lays unconscious in Doctor Bhati’s recovery ward, with Alexand sitting beside her, reading, waiting for her to wake up from the anaesthetic. Always leaving clues to what might follow – keeping us all waiting with anticipation.
Thanks Lee!
As ever the writing pulls you in so you anticipate what happens next. Before it happens we’re always cleverly left hanging. Fantastic artwork as always.

thank you so much dear 🙂
Deeper insights into the characters we are coming to know so well, accompanied by your wonderful drawings…wondering about these and whether you ever made drawings or paintings apart from illustrating this narrative?
Thanks, John, yes there are other drawings and graphics around, from a time before I became obsessed with this series. Here’s a digital painting https://www.flickr.com/photos/unboundboxeslimpinggods/9151327831/in/set-72157634357558679, I also used to design album covers for not much money when Myspace was new.
Hi Cheryl! I love it that you are still in the process of writing this – I imagine it’s like a highwire act. It reads like you are risking a lot – very exciting, but full of depth. This is another great issue – it’s like the fight back is slowly beginning. Your drawing’s are brilliant.
Thanks, Richard, I’m glad you’re enjoying this journey, yes it is very much like that!
