Before Alex had to leave for a five-month tour of duty to Australia, she asked her brother Farokh to make sure Katherine was looking after herself properly. (She gave him a spare key to her apartment.) Two months have passed since Farokh was asked, and he hasn’t visited, due to the fact he forgot, and is also mildly frightened of the rather austere Katherine. Guilt overrides Farokh’s selfish reluctance, and he makes his way towards Katherine’s apartment to carry out Alexand’s request. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

Thanks, Mike! 😀
Hi Cheryl! Poor Katherine. I love what you do to your characters. And how you managed to capture stoned-ness in your drawing of Farokh. The drawing of Katherine is so tender and lovely.
Hi Richard, thank you, yes Farokh is supposed to be on cold turkey, but he has a bit of a compulsion. As for Katherine, I thought I’d show her more vulnerable side as you don’t get to see that very often. Glad you’re enjoying this episode. Can’t wait to release the next issue!

Thanks, Ien! 🙂
So many complex emotions here woven into a tapestry of despair. I feel so deeply for both characters. Writing and drawing as superb as ever Cheryl…
Thank you John! This was a hard story to write, as I’m very fond of Katherine, but I’m glad I can share it with you.
Great work! You are quite a talented writer!
