After witnessing her mother Alexand help her mother Katherine to bed, Aïcha watched the room empty of people. She sits on the sofa, as Farokh and Eldenath squabble about abandoning their rehearsals.

The writer gives life to a story, the reader keeps it alive.
Great descriptive writing Cheryl, I felt her despondancy with her. Your characters always come through clearly. Huge Hugs
Thanks, David. Yes future Alexand is a little unpredictable/mercurial, (although this time it isn’t her fault that she’s disappeared) I really enjoyed writing this story, for Aïcha, and having the drama go on in the background with Ellie and Farokh. Aïcha really feels like an outsider, more so than most, and I hope to share her perspective in future issues. Best wishes.
