Baio-Yujia Sun had been accidentally killed in a crash. (See issue 25: Baio-Yujia Sun) Her three surviving friends Alexand, Heyem and Jarad were found responsible for her death and sentenced to military correction. (See issue 26: There’s No Place Like Home) Three years have passed, and Alexand Merek still has vivid nightmares about Baio-Yujia’s death. Things have escalated and Alexand now sees her dead friend’s shadow at night, when she’s alone in her room. Next chronological story here.

Excellent! Great job!
Nice – the ghost of whispered pasts…
Thanks, Carrie! 🙂
I simply love your illustrations! I wish you let me put a poem to one of them 🙂
Hi Gavriel, I’d love to hear a poem! Thank you, glad you like it so much. Cheryl
Nice 🙂 And the pic is gripping!
Thank you Arif! 😀
Superb. Am loving this! I’ve recently changed my blog’s url by the way. Hope to see more of your work soon 😀
Thanks, Audrey, I’m now following you on your new blog.
Well done. Can feel the cold in the room.
Thanks Adam, glad it feels real. 😀
Really great – another dimension to Alex’s character (love the use of more direct language – very of the night)! She is such a cool haunted presence in the series.
Hi Richard, I admit if Alexand were real I’d probably end up stalking her 🙂 I’m glad you like her too. (She’s one of my most precious imaginary friends)
A most believable ghost – frightening
Thanks, Lee, I’m glad this has the impact I hoped for. This ghost is a persistent presence, although she’s mostly understated.
How chilling – gave me the goosebumps!
Beautiful drawing here Cheryl. Really Amazing-you are very talented!
Thank you, 😀
Wonderfully expressive work – both pictures and words
Hi Chas, thank you, that means a lot. Cheryl
Cheryl, my daughter and I think your drawings are so awesome! She thinks the names you pick are great too – I agree.
Blessings ~ Wendy
Wow these are great!
Thank you 😀
Absolutely amazing illustrations.
Hi Brittany, thank you! 😀
Very effective close-up. The glint off the dilated pupil in particular draws the eye (so to speak).
One day, I really do need to sit and just start paging through. But I might have to hide the drawings or I will stop too much to enjoy them.
Thanks, Jeffrey 🙂
Sadly creepy. I’ve obviously dropped into the midst of an ongoing story. Like it very much though. The minimalist style works really well. 🙂
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed this story 😀
eerie :/, now its in my head. 😛
