    1. 😀 Hi, This story is quite experimental (continuity wise) as it’s running at a similar time to Heyem Merek Part 2, http://wp.me/pXe9M-kt which may be worth a read. Next Week’s release is also part of this story thread. Thanks again for reading, I appreciate it 😀 Cheryl

    1. Hi Kenny, thanks for reading, I’m glad you enjoyed this. Actually I forgot to add the storyline thread at the top when I released this, but next in the sequence is Heyem Merek Part 2, which is part of this story thread. It’s at http://wp.me/pXe9M-kt if you fancy a read? (Followed next week by another in the same timeline) Cheryl

  1. cheryl this is one your best yet and it calls for a longer piece, it really does beg for completion. You have me on the edge of my seat and you cannot just drop us all here. 8) Please show us your mettle and finish this one. It would be just wonderful for you and for us to find out at least for one episode what “happens…” GREAT writing!

    1. Hi Pam, thanks for reading, I’m glad you liked it so much! Heyem Merek Part three, which will be released next week, is part of this story, (although will be told from her perspective rather than Toreth’s.) This will be an ongoing story, although in my rather infuriating style I’m mixing it up with a few other stories along the way, but since you’re enjoying this so much it’s encouraging me to try to write a conclusion… Thank you I appreciate your opinion and take note. Cheryl

      1. Hmmm, yes, “infuriating” can be a polite way of saying it, Cheryl!!!!! 8) but it is certainly unique. I hope you one day get that publishing contract because then you will have to prove that you can and will come to a conclusion and round off some of these unbound boxes and stories!!!!! Tee hee. But for now, I’ll take infuriating and keep reading. Still, I really would LOVE to know what happened here…THanks. Write on, as we used to say in my day. Good job.

  2. Hi Miss Cheryl,

Thank you for liking my post and following my blog…

By the way, as I clicked my mouse to open your blog, i did not expect of what I have seen here. Your’re blog is just awesomely amazing!!!! And I love the characters of the story… One question, who did all these graphics of your characters?… those are totally incredible… so fantastic!

I feel like… I need to scan over your old posts for me to follow the entire story… really cool…

    1. Hi Jon, you’re welcome! Good to meet you and thanks for taking the time to visit. You’re welcome here any time! Oh yes they’re my drawings. 🙂 Cheryl

  3. Hi Cheryl! Lovely light, comic treatment in this one. Toreth is an interesting foil for Alex. What a rich brew you have going. I’m gripped – really looking forward to the next issue.

    1. Hi Richard, yes I’m glad you picked up on that. Toreth was partly responsible for raising Alexand and Heyem, (as their mother Inajda was away for large chunks of their childhood,) so Alex looks up to her.

  4. I’m enjoying this story Cheryl. amd I really like your illustrations so that we can all put a face to the character that you want…I find this quite centering in some ways.

  5. First…really great writing Cheryl, second…who did the drawings (I’m sure it’s mentioned somewhere on your blog but I can’t find it)…and third, thanks for stopping by and liking my blog!

    1. Hi Mightwar, thank you for reading. The next few issues are from the same storyline, as I’ve had requests to stop taunting for once 🙂 BTW I’ve joined your dance on facebook. I’ve been reading your blog 🙂 Good to meet you, I’m looking forward to reading more of your work too. Cheryl

      1. Yea!!! *she cheers, jumping up and down with excitement* I’m looking forward to it. It was such a delicious start and felt like that “Awww Mum…” moment when you’ve been told it’s bedtime, but the book before you has got you hooked.

And thank you for joining the dance.
