  1. Haha! Heyem is sooooooooo mean. You know what? Same with my sister, she doesn’t know that she’s hurting anyone with her words. Smart but yet so clueless. LMAO!

I love this story. The drawings are fantabulous! Cross-eyed Alex with a wig, makes me smile… 🙂

      1. I love Alex’s sarcasms too! But, from my own experience, sarcastic as I am, heh!heh!…they don’t work with people like Heyem or my sis. Maybe one day they will comprehend…or..NOT?! LOL! 🙂

    1. Ah yes this type of sarcasm is very dangerous when used on such people! But Alexand loves the danger. She thrives on irritating her sister lol. (I’m too much of a coward to stick up for myself in front of said people, but I admire Alexand’s guts! It’s very liberating to write scenes with Heyem and Alex.)

    1. I’m glad, Richard! Yep, Heyem is based loosely on someone I know. (Won’t mention who) lol It’s nice to have Alex say what I’d like to say to this person in real life. (If only I had the guts) 😀

    1. Hi Dom, sorry about the delayed response, just seen your comment :O Yep Alex is ultra sarcastic when it comes to Heyem, but it’s a lot of fun to write. Glad you enjoyed it. All the best, Cheryl

  2. Thanks for discovering my blog, which led me to discover yours! You combine writing/illustrating talent at a very high level, and I love the sub-head to your blog (“The writer gives life to a story, the reader keeps it alive”). So well said.

    1. Hi, Penny. Thank you and likewise. I very much enjoyed looking at your photography, particularly the found art. Good to meet you. I’m glad you visited and like the stories.

  3. Things are getting interesting. I like the calm aftermath feel of this plot. The excitement and pain of the asylum has happened, already passed and need not be explained much. Now Alexand just wants to recover her own way, and the tension is from others who make judgments about her.
