  1. Wow! I love the casual “magic” of this issue, the hard-edged SF-ness of it. And the drawing is fantastic – especially because Gianti Dincrind looks even more ghoulish than her creatures.

    1. Hi Richard, yes I’m going through an antagonistic stage with the characters at the moment. Gianti is truly awful, along with her fellow scientists Filius Anderson and Helga Ritter. Yes she does look ghoulish. I always feel sorry for the creatures she’s created, but it’s very hard to have sympathy for some of the scientists on board The Floating Asylum. Ghoulish is definitely the right word for her!

  2. I don’t know why I seem to be missing on your new post updates, Cheryl. I have been wondering why you hadn’t posted for the last couple of weeks. Dincrind and Anderson are characters new to me. And they sound terrifying!

    1. Hi Vera, yes I’ve had that problem too, so I’ve resorted to keeping people’s blog comments and likes stored in my email and revisiting every week via my email, which is a bit clunky, but seems to work better somehow. Yes, Gianti and Filius are interesting characters for me to write about as I have little empathy for them, but have to attempt to understand why they are carrying out such hideous acts.
