Wow, Cheryl, I am beginning to piece the characters together gradually. So, Ancille is Samuel’s sister. And now, I realise why Ancille and Alexand share such an interdependent relationship. It’s marvellous. I am so enjoying this and the illustrations.
Thanks Vera, yes Sam is Alexand’s son along with his sisters Ancille and Anastasia. The story leading to Sam and Anastasia’s abduction hasn’t been published here yet, but I may write it one day. I’m glad the disconnected stories are starting to connect together.

Thanks Richard, yes I’m glad you caught onto that. Sam’s quite a controversial character for some test readers I’ve had for the first manuscript. Arrested development is a good way of describing his issues with memory.
