Unbound Boxes Limping Gods: Disconnected Stories. Issue # 106: Post Asylum Blues Part 3

Abouna Panak transports a very disorientated Juba Apfvarzian away from the Nevada Desert, (See issue 105: Post Asylum Blues Part 2)  to a more comfortable place. (Alexand’s army apartment.) Hopefully, Juba will now find the help he’s been searching for. CLICK HERE for next chronological story.

  1. Hi Cheryl! This is so disorientating, brilliantly so. Just when you think you’ve got a handle on things… 🙂 There’s something very play-like about this issue. And so much plot packed into that small apartment. It feels like a change is coming. The drawings are perfect at capturing the oddness of Juba’s situation.

    1. Hi Richard, sorry about the late reply, I’m in a story writing/drawing production-line mode, and been a bit obsessed with this latest series, called You’re In The Army Now, starting in a few weeks. Glad you like this issue. I’m planning on writing more issues which are series based, rather than one-offs, but they take a lot of energy, hence the lack of communication. I love the photograph of Ingrid BTW, it’s one of your very best!

    1. Thanks Lee, the relationship between Alexand and Juba is one of the most important in the series, as they’ve both been through such hard times, but I love their resilience. Glad you like this issue.

  2. Hi Cheryl, I’ve reviewed some of your work on Readwave. You’re a great writer and artist. What a gem your site it. Nice to catch up with you again.
