Anya was knocked unconscious during the explosion and woke up to find herself lying on Future Alexand Merek’s sofa.

After a haernyara terrorist exploded a bomb in the Kyo-ashita training grounds, Jay Varma, along with Ajeeta Kothari and Katherine De Somme, were charged with forensically examining the remains of the three Kyo-ashita victims and the dead terrorist.

Posing as Kyo-ashita warriors, charged with the rehabilitation of the ex-Haernyara, Anya Ranyevzsky, Future Alexand, (Creya Johal) and her grandchildren, Eldenath and Zero, head towards the deck of the Kyuunansen.

Inajda left Xan, Alexand and Jarad in the Prison of Souls, and with a vial of Xan’s precious blood, went searching for the elusive Anesidor Sumian, so that Sumian could synthesise Xan’s blood to allow it to create blood weapons to fight the Amanojuko.

Future Alexand had woken early, as instructed by her Guild Master (Future Heyem Merek,) she is ready to take a very nervous Anya to the past, to carry out a fake assassination, which will set a series of events in motion.

Inajda thought it far too risky to take Alexand and Jarad to the Kyuunansen, as a temporary sanctuary, due to the fact Katherine De Somme is alive and well, onboard. Needing to avoid any potential encounters, (paradoxes) Inajda had no choice but to take her fleeing family to the most secure place in the whole world. The Prison of Souls.

Faced with an unstoppable indestructible Amanojuko in their home, Alexand appeals to Inajda, to help get out of this impossible situation. (Re: Longsheng, See Issue 299 The Unbound Box part 4, Issue 300 The Unbound Box Part 5 and Issue 326 The Search for Filius Anderson Part 8)

After leaving Farokh’s desecrated grave, Inajda showed Alexand more horrific crimes conducted by the Amanojuko. Posing as tourists with different pseudonyms they are back inside the walls surrounding Russia, outside a child breaking centre for Lord Anderson’s Haernyara army. (Featuring Ichitumbu Jalhavi. See Issue 34 Amanojuko part 2)

Helga Ritter stands alone in the cloning laboratory, onboard her Floating Asylum ship. She had ordered three agents to capture Heyem Merek, so that she could conduct more intense experiments into the bioweapon’s technology in the Merek twin’s DNA.

Heyem is still in a state of shock, after the attack, and has discovered that she not only has two unlikely saviours, but another one of her girlfriends is an Amanojuko spy.

Xan and Edith, followed Heyem along the pathway, phased out of focus so that Heyem could not detect them. They both materialised as three Amanojuko agents were also stalking Heyem and appeared on the pathway. The agents surround Heyem in an attempt to abduct her.

Heyem is suspicious that the two strangers who have gate crashed her lecture are not innocent passers-by, interested in herstory.

Generals Xan Medani and Edith MehXian have been ordered by President Asenath Bomani to keep watch over Xan’s progeny, as the Amanojuko agents are taking particular interest in their twin granddaughters, Alexand and Heyem. Xan and Edith sit in the second row of Heyem’s lecture theatre posing as students. Xan has used a gender switch to disguise himself, as he believes Heyem could recognise him as a man. Edith being much younger than she was when she had died, remains in her own body.

Future Alexand finished the interview a few hours ago, and after the News crew had left, she retired to her bedroom, to get away from people, as she was emotionally exhausted.

Generals Edith MehXian and Xan Medani look on from a distance, phased out of focus, witnessing, but being unable to take part in, a past conversation between their adopted daughter, Inajda and their granddaughter, Alexand.

The Guild Master’s General managed to convince (Future) Alexand Merek to agree to a candid interview with the reporter Cordelia (Bizzi) Gray from 101 Downtime News. Bizzi has no idea how he managed to secure this interview, but Alexand allowed the film crew to set camp in her grounds, and after a wardrobe change and an hour with the network’s makeup team, the interview is ready to commence. (For my magical son, Sam. Everyone else thought it was raining, but you knew they were all wrong.)

Alexand (posing as a socialite tourist called Barbara) is still in shock as she attempts to come to terms with the horrors in Gianti Dincrind’s laboratory.

After taking possession of the man who could not age, (Eric Mehmed) or rather his dead body, Gianti Dincrind has cloned his cells and the cells of his twin daughters Alexand and Heyem Merek, and his dead son Farokh so that she can find out a way of fixing the glitches in Amanojuko DNA. So far, she has had very little success. (This story is dedicated to Jinkx Monsoon, and all the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race, who have lifted me up throughout the pandemic. “A little bit of love, goes a long, long way. Lifting you up to a brighter day.”) Thank you to everyone who has supported Unbound boxes for the past twelve years. It, along with my son, Sam is my reason to feel alive.

Inajda and Alexand, disguised as socialites, Barbara and Susan Hendry, make their way to the lower decks of what Alexand discovers to be one of Lord Anderson’s Floating Asylum ships.

Alexand is tired, and cold, but her mother’s offer to show her the true extent of Lord Anderson’s campaign is far too tempting to turn down.

Lord Filius Anderson needs new blood to build his slave army, behind the walls inside Russia. The border countries have slowly given him access to their children, as the Knights of Amanojuko, politicians in positions of power, enable him to smuggle young children across the wall and break them into Haernyara.

After realising Heyem did not wish to be protected by her, Inajda set search for Alexand, so that she could fulfil Asenath Bomani’s wish for Colonel Merek to gain full intelligence to the Amanojuko agenda.

Cordelia Gray wishes her film crew had been transported to Alexand’s garden with her, but the consummate reporter knows this is probably the biggest scoop of her career. She has a recording device inside her writer, which has captured the whole conversation, and she is hungry for much more.

The Guild Master’s General separates himself from the scurry of reporters and Alexand Merek fans, as the two women, the reporter Bizzi Gray, who he rescued not so long ago, and Alexand Merek, herself, approach. (See Unbound Boxes Limping Gods: Disconnected Stories. Issue # 28: Cordelia (Bizzi) Gray)

After letting Anya release the soul back into the last child’s body, Alexand and the rest of the Resurrection party realise that there is a commotion outside in the courtyard, involving fans dressed as various characters associated with their idol.

Cordelia (Bizzi) Gray is a reporter working for 101 Downtime News, which specialises in celebrity live news reports. She has just been given the heads up that the reclusive Alexand Merek has been spotted inside the School of Applied Resurrection. She has pushed her way to the front of the building, along with her camera crew, to where she can see Alexand Merek, beside her wife and a strange woman with tattoos on her face resurrecting four dead children in front of a school of Time Academy students.

The School of Applied Resurrection is the world leader in resurrecting the dead from the war battered original earth. Although still in its infancy, technology has advanced enough to grow cloned bodies in days, rather than months. Katherine has accompanied Alexand as she knows how much Alex has been looking forward to this day, since her younger self witnessed the murder of these children and wished she could do something to have saved them from their horrific fate.

Alexand and Katherine have got up early so they can prepare to take Anya to the School of Applied Resurrection. Alexand walks down the stairs into the lounge to join her wife for breakfast. (For Barbie. One of the most beautiful people in this world.)

Anya has never touched a piano before or seen musical instruments. She has not met women married to each other, or who are so free spirited. Such things are taboo back at the Haernyara Headquarters and will one day be placed inside the Bad Thing Box worldwide.

Alexand shows Anya to her room, although it is mid-day to the ex- Haernyara, who paces back downstairs to explore the mansion. Anya is not the first enemy slave that Alexand and Katherine have helped rehabilitate, but she is the most significant so far, in terms of affecting Alexand’s own past life. (For Tori. Thank you for taking me to the other side of the galaxy.)

Anya has watched Alexand Merek place each soul tube next to the children’s hair, inside bags, which she has marked with their names. (Happy Birthday, Dad, this is for you, wherever you are.)

Anya desperately wants to be saved, but she is reluctant to trust these strangers, associated with her old friend Inajda. However, she has no choice, her only option is to believe Alexand Merek’s words to be true. (For Ukraine – for peace.)

Anya has followed the eccentric future version of Alexand Merek, posing as a Kyo-ashita called Creya Johal, to the Kyo-ashita quarters, after being granted probationary sanctuary.

Inajda relays her mission to Moscow to Field Marshal Panak and President Bomani.

Future Alexand’s Guild Master has arranged for her alter ego, Creya Johal to have lodgings onboard the Kyuunansen. Future Alexand had to pretend not to care about Katherine, and they both reluctantly parted from each other, Kat returning to her laboratory and Alexand chaperoning her ward, Anya Ranyevzsky.

Asenath Bomani orders the entire army of Kyo-ashita, and everyone else save Inajda Rekaya out of her High Council chamber.

Future Alexand, in the guise of a Kyo-ashita guard, has been charged with the custody of Anya Ranyevzsky.

Disguised as a Kyo-ashita guard, Future Alexand (although not an intruder on the ship) thought it best to observe the events of the past, incognito. Her mission in this time was not purely to visit Katherine, but to take part in an event which set in motion a series of occurrences, leading to a cataclysm in her own past self’s life.

Asenath Bomani, president of the rebellion, woke in her cabin to the sound of the ship’s intruder alarm. Kyo-ashita guards appeared at the foot of her bed, to escort her to the High Council chamber. She quickly transformed herself into the leader everyone would expect at such a time as this. Flanked by Kyo-ashita, President Bomani marched to the High council chamber, to meet with the captured intruder, and to consult her advisors.

Against protocol, Inajda has disobeyed a prime directive and materialises with her rescued prisoner, and old friend, Anya, onto the Kyuunansen, as it is the only safe haven, she could think of suitably equipped for Anya’s rehabilitation.

Anya watches the angry Alexand Merek stomp away, leaving her in the company of her old friend and saviour, Inajda Rekaya. (This is for you, Dad.)

Alexand materialises along with Inajda and the captured Haernyara, outside Jochi’s burnt out studio.

Whilst Anya was unconscious, Inajda had retrieved all that she needed from her ex hideout, aware that she could never use it again, and that the Amanojuko should not have access to it or know it existed. She had planted a series of invisible bombs around the edges of her old apartment complex and she, Alexand and their rescued ex Haernyara, retreat to the safety of the adjacent street.

Inajda and Alexand have followed Inajda’s childhood friend to the old apartment building which used to be their home. Alexand wants to hold back until the Haernyara leaves, but Inajda has accepted that her hideout has been compromised, and insists on following Anya inside, to whatever end. (See Issue # 300: The Unbound Box Part 5, with reference to an optical shield in Longsheng)

Anya’s memories have been triggered by her return to Moscow. She has been awarded two hours leave, by Helga Ritter, for presenting the American president with the Bad Thing Box. Fully aware that there is a tracking device in her wrist, she is compelled to visit her parent’s old home, to return to a place full of good memories.

Inajda and Alexand, in the guise of two Amanojuko candidates, watch from the Auditorium as the vice president of Mongolia is offered eternal life by Lady Helga Ritter.

Katherine had taken Aamiina and Jamila to Samira Ganesh, who showed them to their new apartment. Katherine decided to avoid work for the day and return to her own apartment as the events of the afternoon have made her think about her own future on this ship.

Katherine had taken the two new refugees to her friend Jay Varma’s laboratory, as Jay is an expert on cloned technology, and the most qualified on board the Kyuunansen to help with Aamiina’s injuries. (Unbound Boxes Limping Gods is back after a break. Thank you to everyone for your support. The writer gives life to a story, the reader keeps it alive.)

Inajda has placed a recorder inside Alexand’s contact lens and will return to Abouna Panak with the incriminating evidence implicating high up members of the world’s government, including the American President and Mongolian Vice President in the abduction, torture and murder of children. (News – The Broken Writer – I will be taking a break from 23rd June until 1st September. Next issue – Wednesday 1st September. Thank you for your patience.)

Katherine had analysed the blood of the newest refugees and found both women to have no sign of the Amanojuko virus.

Katherine has seen many more refugees arrive from the shrinking world outside and has kept her promise to President Bomani and ensured that the Amanojuko virus does not board the ship. She has spent far too long in her laboratory and decided to have a break from her work, visit the top deck, to look out at the sea.

After being given immortality by Helga Ritter, Agnes Harlaut is in Moscow, and has been charged with handling the detention and interrogation of subversives acting outside the Russian wall. She has in her custody a group of Mongolian teenagers who took incriminating photographs of Amanojuko delegates.

Alexand follows Inajda into her hideout in the heart of the Amanojuko Capital City. (If you enjoy this story, then please consider donating to the DEC India appeal. This issue is dedicated to a friend of mine, who happens to live in India. This story is for you, Siddiqui Fayesal Stay safe.)

The Guild Master’s General returns to his studio in London, after a very exhausting assassination. He is hungry and tired and just needs to sleep.

Anesidor Sumian waits impatiently as Alexand Merek’s demands for information increase.

Georges has barricaded himself into his mansion, after fearing retribution for funding the Katherine’s Bullet project. As he had predicted, his wife, Kavita had killed herself again, and he was alone, wandering his mansion, his writer full of weapons, in case Lord Anderson sent an assassin to break in.

The Guild Master’s General has been ordered by his Guild Master to assassinate a high-ranking member of the American Government in 3992. This politician would have risen to become a leading member of Filius Anderson’s Knights of the Amanojuko, resulting in the death of Anesidor Sumian, a key member of the resistance. The Guild Master’s General must take this agent out to save Anesidor’s life. (Story refers to issue 2: Anesidor Sumian)

Alexand materialised in Abouna Panak’s office, demanding that he locate Inajda and Professor Sumian immediately, showing him the photographs taken of the vice president of Mongolia. (This issue is dedicated to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the rays of hope and light in a political quagmire.)

Alexand follows the woman, whose name is Ehri, to the outskirts of the village, to where a pathway leads up a steady incline, the entrance of Bogd Khan Uul National Park.

Reports of locals disappearing in the Mongolian Capital, had Field Marshal Panak station Colonel Merek to Ulaanbaatar to investigate, and have her troops act as a front-line guard for the people of that city. Other major cities bordering the Amanojuko’s wall around Russia, have reported similar disappearances, and Panak has placed his troops in all affected border cities to send a message to the Amanojuko.

Two months have passed since Alexand decided to live away from Jarad in the military base, after their house was found to be bugged. He visits her each week, stays the night occasionally, but always retreats back to his shack in the woods. The military base is no place for a family, and he has come to talk with Alexand and try to convince her to come back home.

Mr Ash walks the corridors of Anum Anzeti’s castle and approaches the Time Maintenance Library in search of the illusive General’s Guild Master.

Lord Anum Anzeti waits in his Presentation Room as Mr Ash approaches.

The Guild Master’s General returns to his slum after a series of missions to maintain the fabric of time’s continuity.

Katherine sits awkwardly on the sofa accepting the hospitality of the family she has come to visit, seeking information about the climate on the outside of the ship. (This issue celebrates the vanquishing of a monster in our own time, on this day, 20th January 2021)

After checking that her cat was alright, watching the rest of Alexand’s recordings and waiting half the night for the sun to rise, Katherine felt herself falling asleep. She woke up in the middle of the afternoon, with Ali purring on her pillow, and a deep need to visit the family of the girl with Downs Syndrome, Alexand had donated her eye to, to see why exactly the family had ended up on the Kyuunansen.

Jarad has spent a few days alone, after Alexand disappeared again, without telling him where she was going or when she would be back. He is expecting a student to arrive in an hour, for their Russian lesson, and he is quietly seething, but extremely worried about his wife’s absence.

Ajeeta Kothari showed Katherine recordings of Alexand’s appeal, for a sponsor to fund the survivor’s recovery.

Despite it being two o’clock in the morning, Katherine hammers on Jay’s cabin door, after her encounter with the family who claim she is responsible for saving their daughter. Katherine needs answers. Katherine walks back to her apartment, disorientated, attempting to come to terms with being stranded back in her own time, alone. (This issue is dedicated to Rainbow Railroad, a charity set up in Canada to enable people from the LGBTQI community to escape from persecution and relocate to safer countries.)

The Guild Master’s General returns Katherine to the safety of the Kyuunansen ship, after showing her a future world, which resembled heaven. (This issue is dedicated to my dad, Eric Moore, who died 25 years ago today, the day after my 21st Birthday. Alexand and Heyem were (or will be) born on 2nd December, so this day represents both death and life. Love outlasts death.)

Inajda watches helplessly and with quiet fascination as Professor Sumian conducts a procedure to determine whether Alexand’s baby is also immune to the ageing process.

Alexand is nervous to reveal what she learnt about her father’s death to Inajda, especially in front of Anesidor Sumian, but she takes courage in the fact they are both senior members of the resistance.

Professor Sumian analyses the bugs found inside Alexand’s house and metal finger.
