It took five years of rehabilitation for Omorose Merek-Balsara to trust Andre enough to consider him fit to be released into the custody of his resurrected parents. After meeting up with the Guild Master’s General and another emancipated Haernyara, Omorose and her ward join them as they walk towards a war museum, doubling as a refugee naturalisation centre, on Terminal Island, Long Beach.
