    1. Thanks, Helena, (Yes it’s easier to miss now, this story is getting veeeeeeery looooooong and there’s no end in sight yet!) Glad you’re enjoying it.

      1. When you hit a stride, I think it’s best to ride it out — I actually wrote nearly 12,000 words on my serial novel over the weekend because I just NEEDED to.
I just wanted to remind you (hit me if I’m being a pest) that the Pre-Order campaign ends this Saturday. I am planning on making an announcement on by blog on Friday as a big reminder, but thought I’d drop you a line.

  1. The idea of ‘The Highest Ranks of Separation’ is quite intriguing. Perhaps it’s not really separation? I can’t help thinking of the ‘6 degrees of separation’ concept which states that we are far more connected than we realise… perhaps there is hope for Alexand after all?

    1. Thank you, yes, I went to see that play when I was 17 with Stockard Channing in it, and I think I was too young to appreciate the concept back then. You’re right, everything is connected, everything we do has an impact even if we’re not aware of it. And there’s definitely hope for Alexand, she’s one of those people who hopes until there’s very little left. Glad you’re enjoying reading, it means a lot.

  2. What a fantastic idea – to go on an adventure with your mum – I’d love that! This new society is such an intriguing idea – and made all the stranger by your wonderful drawings – love the outfits!

  3. a future Russia reverting to slavery and planning to repopulate the whole world…very interesting considering current world events…
another fascinating episode with brilliant drawings Cheryl…

    1. Hi John, thank you. Yes, actually that’s a strange and creepy coincidence as this story has been part of the mythology of Unbound Boxes for about 20 years now, and it makes me a bit shuddery that it happens to be released in this unsettling time. (It’s been scheduled for three months in the WP draft posts) Here’s hoping for a peaceful (although I’m not sure how that’s possible) resolution to this real life crisis.

  4. I wish you would get back to this cheerier stuff. I saw cancer in your storyline a long time ago. A short time in a depressing area may work, but a popuality level , matching your talent level needs more of these costuming panels. I apologize for being critical, but I’m still comfused by why you resist reaching out to a wider audience.
