Unbound Boxes Limping Gods: Disconnected Stories. Issue # 119: Amanojuko Part 5

Katherine had already analysed the hair attempting to find out something about the identity of her attacker. (See issue 118: You’re In The Army Now Part 8) After arguing about keeping the information from her, Alex insisted she helped locate the mysterious attacker and demanded Katherine provide her with every scrap of evidence she has, which could lead to an identity. Fearing the task too dangerous, but unable to dissuade Alexand from her new quest to save her life, Katherine left Alex with her findings, warning her not to do anything without consulting her first. 1. Hi Bill, thank you, I’m just heading over to catch up with your blog. (Been editing book 2, so have been absent from WP for a while) Happy New Year and all the best for 2014.

    1. Ah, thanks, Elena, you’re the first person to comment on that. (Had flu so pimped up my page 🙂 ) Happy New Year and all the best for 2014. I’m looking forward to seeing your forthcoming paintings.

  1. Heightened suspense – well done. Little details make the story very believable. I’m hooked on the characters. I love the drawing of the Records Building. Thanks, Cheryl (for also taking the time to check out some of my stories).

    1. Hi Lee, you’re welcome, I always look forward to reading your stories and also seeing your artwork as they are very original. Thanks glad you’re enjoying this series too, and Happy New Year.

  2. Hi Cheryl! I love the freedom the writer gives to your stories – the sense that Alex’s adventures are as much intellectual as physical is really satisfying. And I love the drawing of the public records building.

    1. Hi Richard, good to see you, how’s your break going? Hope you’re enjoying the new year, and thank you, yes, the writer can give a lot of freedom, but it can cause a lot of damage too when it’s used unwisely. Happy New Year to you, I’m looking forward to seeing more of your photography in 2014, when you’ve returned from your break. Thanks for taking time to stop by here, I always appreciate it. If I were Alex I’d be a bit cautious about that ominous looking public records building! (She really does get herself into trouble)

    1. Hi Paulette, good to meet you, and good luck with raising funds for the animal shelter in 2014, a very worthy cause. Thank you, glad you like the illustrations, that means a lot. All the best, Cheryl.

    1. Hi KOH, thank you, I’m glad you’re enjoying reading and seeing the illustrations, it means a lot to me. I enjoy your photography, and loved your Palette creature idea, it’s very imaginative. All the best for 2014, Cheryl.
