Thanks, Richard, I love the way people react differently, (and play a different side of themselves) depending on who they’re with. Alexand’s relationship with her brother brings out a different side of her, and I liked mixing it up amongst this longer storyline. Glad you like it.
I’ve always loved Alex in her relationship with Katherine. But I really do like her as an older sister too. She is a truly gorgeous character — bet your mum would be delighted to know she was modelled after her. How is Katherine?
Hi Vera, I love writing about Katherine and Alex a little too much for my own good if I was to admit this to myself. 🙂 As for Katherine, she features (in first person) in the next issue, so you’ll find out how she’s doing. I can’t wait to release it. It’s like a drug really… and my Mum, she really wouldn’t recognise herself. I suppose her kindness and humour are the best qualities that Alexand has inherited from her. (There are a lot of huge differences too, so Alex is very loosely based in part on my Mum, but there’s a lot of myself in there too, (some of the more fallible qualities, possibly… 🙂 )
I bet there is. A lot of you in Alexand. You know her far too well. Smiles.
And she is gorgeous. 🙂
