  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog, Cheryl. This is amazing work you have here. The writing and illustrating is beautiful. Do you plan on publishing these works in a series or collection?

    1. Hi Ryan, you’re welcome. I enjoyed reading your article about your publishing experiences in particularly mainstream versus independent. I’ve written a few manuscripts for this mythology, which I’m seeking publication for at the moment. As for the micro stories, I’m not publishing them anywhere but here at the moment but that may change some day. Thanks for visiting I appreciate your support.

    1. Hi. Inventing a new world is your solution too, very glad to meet you and thank you for visiting this world. (Reflecto girl is my favourite btw) 😀 Glad you like the drawings of my characters.

      1. Thank you, I’m glad you like it. Yes, I love your drawings – the details are amazing; the time they must take you! Hauntingly beautiful work.

  2. Your mind is absolutely beautiful! Just astounding. Breathtaking imagery. It must just go on for miles inside your head. Bloody Brilliant!

      1. I tend to feel that way about my head. I wish I had the ability to organize it the way you do. My journals all resemble the psychotic rants of a schizophrenic sociopath. Nothing complete, everything has a different start date, all of the handwriting is different, since it’s usually a fit of creativity that inspires the writing, and I couldn’t even begin to explain the crude sketches of heroes and villains, which appear to be one in the same to most people. This is Neil Gaiman level, I hope you know that. I hope you see how talented you are.

    1. You have one of the most imaginative blogs I’ve read, and I *squeal* at the mention of Neil Gaiman. (I love him so much) You’ve made me happy and a bit shaky in a good way. Thank you.

      1. So much negativity in the world today. We are all told no so many times, I feel like I need to be telling people yes, especially people worth the YES! Not enough people work hard or devote themselves to crafting something worth their time, let alone anyone else.

  3. Hi Cheryl, I’m so glad you came by my blog otherwise I’d never have clicked on the link and found your beautiful work. Your illustrations are amazing!

    1. Hi Elizabeth, thank you, I’m glad you like them. I enjoyed reading “Breakfast” and also what inspired you to write the story. It’s good to meet you. Cheryl

  4. For someone who has her own blog and values feedback I confess I’ve visited and not made comments or pressed “like” buttons here until now. I’m fascinated by your drawings and wonder whether you work from photos. They’re quite atmospheric and evocative. I hope you get published, Cheryl.

    1. Thanks for visiting, Helen, I enjoyed, Alexa Meade’s artwork on your blog. Yes I work from photos, sometimes from collages I’ve created from different images. Thanks for your wishes, I hope I get Unbound Boxes published one day too. I can’t wait for people to read the full manuscript and learn the full story. Good to meet you and I’ll look forward to your future posts.
